Our Mission

The Oregon Association of Orthopaedic Executives, formerly known as Oregon BONES, promotes the professional development of the Orthopaedic manager through peer interaction and group education programs, by developing interest and research in Orthopaedic practice management, and by representing the concerns and ideas of a broad base of Orthopaedic managers on healthcare related issues.

Who Are We?

The National AAOE was started nationally in 1969 by four Orthopaedic managers to encourage the interchange of ideas and information among Orthopaedic managers.  Oregon's state association was formed in 1991.

Dear OAOE Members, Non-Members and Staff,

Please join us for the OAOE Fall 2011 Conference, which will be held at the Salishan Resort on the beautiful Oregon coast in November.  The Conference promises to be educational, with a variety of speakers beneficial to your clinic needs as well as informative on pending Oregon rules and regulations.

The OAOE conference will provide attendees opportunities to exchange and share information by networking throughout the conference.  During these uncertain economic times and decreased physician reimbursement, we are faced with difficult decisions everyday on how to best run our practices, generate revenue and be up to date on legislative issues that affect our industry.   The OAOE continues to be a leader in providing educational opportunities and collaboration within the world of orthopedics to help improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of our practices, large or small.

Our Fall 2011 Conference is scheduled for half days on Thursday, November 10th and Friday, November 11th, 2011 at the Salishan Resort in Gleneden, OR.  With national and local speakers scheduled, we have a dynamic agenda planned, including a joint lunch with the Oregon Association of Orthopaedists to hear guest speaker Dan Berry, M.D., the current President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, who will discuss national orthopedic issues.  Please refer to the information included in the packet and be sure to register and join us.

We welcome returning members and invite new participants to the Fall 2011 Conference at Salishan.
