Marilyn Happold-Latham, MBA, FACMPE
Marilyn has recently retired as the Administrator for Women’s Clinic, PC an eight physician OB-Gyn practice in Portland and is now working as an independent consultant. She has worked in medical group management for 15 years managing OB-Gyn, internal medicine and cardiology practices in addition to healthcare consulting. In the last five years she has focused her practice on improving its accounts receivable performance and with improved contracting techniques and auditing payments and adjustments of contracted health plans. She facilitates a monthly networking and round table meeting of other medical group managers in the Portland area. In 2007 Marilyn co-authored a chapter in the book, RVU Applications for Medical Practice Success, 2nd Edition, and previously helped edit the Chart of Accounts for HealthCare Organizations, both published by the Medical Group Management Association. Marilyn has served for the past seven years on the Professional Papers Committee for the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive, a Fellow in the College and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association.
